Vintage bathroom
Never can resist cheesing in the mirror.
I have FINALLY finished the most exquisite little guest bath I think I have ever done. (I always think the last project is the best!) We chose white tile and spa blue-green walls for a classic, calm look.
My client, who is also a dear friend, wanted the bath to look like it had always been exactly like this, not a new remodel in her historic 1928 home. So we found lots of brand new hardware and fixtures that have a vintage feel. It is really a tight little space, ya'll. We could both stand in there, but just barely! I will show you the space from left to right in the following photos. We are so pleased with the results!
Granite ledge over 2 drawers under a little dormer window. Look at the pretty beadwork we found to go on the bottom edge of the balloon shade.
Amazing pressed glass and chrome drawer pulls.
Teeny, tiny little toilet.
Carrera and black marble floor tile in a basketweave pattern. Looks like it is original. But it's not!
Wonderful tile work! Look at that little niche above the sink. We were pretty delighted to discover this classic subway tile with an interesting twist.....beveled edges. It gives great definition to the tile.
Pretty faucets, especially that amazing tub spout.
Gorgeous custom shower curtain of light brown linen embroidered with spa blue swirls, with blue inset valance that is actually attached.
Seriously, there is no way to get out of the shot!

During......this is one of my favorite people ever!
