What a fun idea for a headboard. I stole this idea completely from my friend "The Fabulous Rebekah". (She doesn't even need a last name. Ever.)

I can take absolutely no credit for the idea, but I did give it my own twist. The mantle is actually very old and is made of quarter sawn oak. It was in very good shape and required little effort to rejuvenate the finish.

The textured quilt and pretty Waverly toile fabric give the room a charming and nostalgic feel. What a pretty bedroom for a small cottage.....especially as it began as a plain vanilla box. The buttery wall color was inspired by the gold and blue toile bolster.
