I recently had the opportunity to take a painting class with my sweet friend Rhonda Mullins at Blowfish Emporium in Bristol, VA. (You can click Blowfish Emporium to go straight to their website. Look at the event calendar to see what classes they will be having this month.) We all did a painting based on one original and we had 11 wildly different paintings at the end of the evening. What fun!
I hadn't painted anything in a really long while, and was so delighted with the results that I kept it in my backseat for a week, insisting that my friends look at it and tell me how talented I am. It is hanging in my hall and makes me smile every time I see it.
