Pretty bedroom for a pretty girl
Last night I got to put some of the finishing touches on a teenage girl's bedroom, and it came out beautifully. She and her mom had chosen a new quilt from PBTeen and we built the color scheme around it. Last month, this room was a light purple. We painted the walls a soft teal-y blue-green for a pretty, more sophisticated look. Mom chose these fun and textured curtains from PBTeen as well. We reused the existing curtain rods and I added the playful twisted sheer curtains between the textured side panels. I found these gorgeous mini crystal chandeliers that just plug directly and do not have to be hardwired. We hid the cords behind the side panels of the curtains. They are hanging from beautiful brackets that are also used for hanging plants. (When I say "we" in this post, I really mean that my friend RJ Powell did all the hard technical parts of this project that require strong hands.)
I also found these fun pom-pom shams and polka-dot sheets to add a little spunkiness to this bed. How fun and fresh everything looked.
I am 100% certain that this pretty teenage girl loves her pretty new bedroom!
You can see the sparkly chandeliers a little better in this photo. I kind of wanted one for myself when I saw everything finished last night! (Thanks for taking this photo, Katie!)

You knocked yourself out on this one! WOW!! I love the sophisticated touch of the chandelier juxtaposed with the playful whimsy of the bedspread. The color...as always with you...is exquisitely perfect! BRAVO!!!
Always fun to work with you, Ms. Paessler!
